Calgary road closures and lane restrictions - October 7, 2013

Calgary, AB – October 7, 2013                                                                     for immediate release 
New road closures and lane restrictions
 
Northeast
Westbound Memorial Drive will be closed from 36 Street N.E. to Barlow Trail (at Franklin LRT Station) from 8 p.m. on Friday, October 11 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 for platform construction.
 
Northwest
Northbound Sarcee Trail N.W. will be reduced to one lane north of Country Hills Boulevard N.W. from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily from Monday, October 7 to Wednesday, October 9 for utility work. 
 
Southeast
28 Street S.E. will be closed between 26 Avenue and 28 Avenue S.E. from 9 a.m. on Monday, October 7 until 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 10 for utility work.
 
Southwest
The two right lanes will be closed on southbound Macleod Trail at James McKevitt Road starting on Tuesday, October 8 until Friday, October 11 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily for roadwork. The speed will be restricted to 50 km/h during this time.  The exit to James Mckevitt Road will remain open during construction.
The right lane on southbound 14 Street S.W. will be closed at 9 Avenue S.W. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8 for bridge work.
