Calgary road closures and lane restrictions - October 23, 2013

Southwest

Oakfield Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction just south of Oakwood Drive at 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 24 until 7 p.m. on Friday, October 25.

85 Street S.W. is closed at 26 Avenue S.W. for utility installations sfor approximately one week. Northbound traffic is redirected to 69 Street S.W. to 17 Avenue S.W. for access. Southbound traffic is redirected to 69 Street S.W. to Springbank Boulevard S.W.

Westbound 17 Avenue S.W. is reduced to one lane between 5 Street S.W. and 5A Street S.W. until Friday, October 25 for utility work. The sidewalk is also closed during this time.

Southeast

The right lane is closed on eastbound 17 Avenue S.E. at 38 Street S.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Thursday, October 24.

The right lane will be closed on southbound Crowchild Trail at 33 Avenue S.W. from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, October 24 and again from 7 p.m. Friday, October 25 to 10 p.m. Sunday, October 27 for utility work. The speed will be restricted to 50 km/h during this time.

The right lane will be closed on northbound Macleod Trail S.E., north of 25 Avenue S.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25 for roadwork. The speed will be reduced to 50 km/h during this time.

Northeast

4 Avenue N.E. will be closed at 2 Street N.E. from 7 a.m. on Thursday, October 24 until 7 p.m. on Friday, October 25 for utility work.

Edmonton Trail will be closed between 33 Avenue and 37 Avenue N.E. starting Thursday, October 24 at 7 p.m. for approximately one week for utility work. Local access will be maintained. More information is available at www.calgary.ca/edmontontrail .

Southbound Barlow Trail N.E. is reduced to one lane at 16 Avenue N.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Friday, November 8 for roadwork. The ramp from eastbound 16 Avenue to southbound Barlow Trail will be narrowed during this time.

10 Avenue N.E. is closed at 4 Street N.E. until 7 p.m. tonight for utility work.

Northwest

Eastbound 64 Avenue N.W. is reduced to one lane at Métis Trail from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Friday, October 25 for roadwork.
