Calgary road closures and lane restrictions - October 21, 2013

Southwest

Oakfield Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction just south of Oakwood Drive at 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 24 until 7 p.m. on Friday, October 25.

Lyle Avenue will be closed between 20 Street S.W. and Laurentian Way S.W. from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday. October 29 for excavation work.

85 Street S.W. will be closed at 26 Avenue S.W. for utility installation starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23for approximately one week. Northbound traffic will be redirected to 69 Street S.W. to 17 Avenue S.W. for access. Southbound traffic will be redirected to 69 Street S.W. to Springbank Boulevard S.W.

Southeast

The right will be closed on eastbound 17 Avenue S.E. at 38 Street S.E. on Tuesday, October 22 until Thursday, October 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

One lane is closed on southbound 52 Street S.E. from 68 Street S.E. to 72 Street S.E. until Tuesday, October 22 at 6 p.m. for utility work.

Eastbound 50 Avenue S.E. has been closed between 1A Street and 2 Street S.E. for emergency gas line repairs. Traffic will be detoured to 53 Avenue S.E. via 1A Street S.E. This closure is expected to last until the evening of Monday, October 21.

The right will be closed on westbound 17 Avenue S.E. at 38 Street S.E. on Monday, October 21 at 3 p.m. until Wednesday, October 23 at 3 p.m. for roadwork.

Northeast

Southbound Barlow Trail N.E. is reduced to one lane at 16 Avenue N.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Friday, November 8 for roadwork. The ramp from eastbound 16 Avenue to southbound Barlow Trail will be narrowed during this time.

10 Avenue N.E. is closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at 4 Street N.E. until Wednesday, October 23 for utility work.

Northwest

Eastbound 64 Avenue N.W. is reduced to one lane at Métis Trail from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Friday, October 25 for roadwork.

Crowchild Trail N.W. is reduced to one lane in each direction until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22 for Northwest LRT construction.
