Calgary road closures - March 26, 2014

Northeast

NEW: Westbound 26 Avenue N.E. will be reduced to one lane at 52 Street N.E. from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 28 due to construction.

Northwest

Memorial Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Crowchild Trail and 16 Street N.W. from Wednesday, March 19 to Thursday, May 15 due to riverbank restoration. On weekdays lane restrictions will be in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on weekends daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Southeast

NEW: Ogden Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction at 14 Street S.E. from 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 to 5 a.m. Friday, March 28 due to utility work. Left turns will be prohibited at this time.

The right lane on eastbound 114 Avenue S.E. will be closed at 68 Street S.E. from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 due to utility work.

Southwest

NEW: Eastbound Bow Trail will be reduced to one lane at 31 Street S.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 due to construction.  

Extended:  Elbow Drive S.W. has been reduced to one lane in each direction north of Heritage Drive until 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 due to a water main break. Expect delays.

The right lane on 5 Avenue S.W. will be closed between Centre Street and 1 Street S.W. from 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 22 to Wednesday, April 30. During morning and evening peak hours this lane will be used for pedestrians while work is being done on the sidewalk.
