Northeast
NEW: 41 Avenue N.E. will be reduced to one lane in each direction at Centre Street from 7 a.m. on Sunday, July 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 7 due to utility work
NEW: 41 Avenue N.E. will be closed between Edmonton Trail and 1 Street N.E. from 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 5 to 4 a.m. on Monday, July 7 due to construction.
84 Street N.E. will be closed between McKnight Boulevard and 16 Avenue N.E. until further notice due to emergency water services work.
22 Avenue N.E. will be closed between Centre Street and 1 Street N.E. from 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 7 due to utility work.
17 Avenue N.E. and 18 Avenue N.E. are closed at Edmonton Trail until late August due to the Edmonton Trail road reconstruction project.
Northwest
NEW: Northbound Crowchild Trail will be reduced to one lane at University Drive N.W. from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. night from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, August 31 due to bridge deck repairs.
NEW: Silver Springs Road N.W. will be closed at Silver Hill Way N.W. from 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 5 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 due to construction.
NEW: 1 Street N.W. will be closed between 11 Avenue N.W. and 12 Avenue N.W. from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 to accommodate the Crescent Heights Baptist Church Stampede breakfast
NEW: The left lane on southbound Nose Hill Drive N.W. will be closed at Silver Springs Boulevard N.W. from 9 a.m. on Monday, July 7 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 due to utility work. At the same time the left lane on westbound Silver Springs Boulevard N.W. will be closed at Nose Hill Drive N.W.
NEW: Bowwood Drive N.W. will be closed west of 64 Street N.W. from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, July 6 to accommodate the Bow Waters Church Stampede Breakfast.
NEW: 23 Street N.W. will be closed between Kensington Road and 1 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 to accommodate the Kensington Road Church Stampede Breakfast.
The right lanes on north and southbound Northland Drive N.W. will be closed starting Thursday, July 3 and will last throughout the summer due to bike lane improvements and road repaving.
Symons Valley Road is completely closed between 144 Avenue N.W. and Sage Meadow Circle. This closure is expected to last until December 2014. During this time, all heavy truck traffic will be detoured to Shaganappi Trail, and local traffic will be detoured via Sage Hill Drive to 144 Avenue N.W. Visit the webpage for further information.
Southeast
NEW: Sunmills Drive S.E. will be closed at Sunrise Gate S.E. from 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 5 to 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 6 due to traffic calming work.
Bannister Road S.E. will be closed between 151 Avenue S.E. and 153 Avenue S.E. from 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 due to utility work.
There are various lane closures on 9 Avenue S.E. between 3 Street S.E. and 6 Street S.E. until the end of August. There are also various closures on 6 Street S.E. between 9 Avenue and 6 Avenue S.E. for East Village construction. This work will stop during Stampede (July 4-13).
Southwest
NEW: Eastbound Heritage Drive will be reduced to one lane between 14 Street S.W. and Elbow Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11 due to bike lane work.
NEW: 9 Street S.W. will be closed between 15 Avenue S.W. and 16 Avenue S.W. from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 5 to accommodate the Cafe Beano Stampede Party.
33 Street S.W. will be closed between 23 Avenue S.W. and 21 Avenue S.W. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 6 due to utility work.
The right lane on westbound 58 Avenue S.W. will be closed at 2 Street S.W. from 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 due to construction. At this time parking will be restricted and the sidewalk on southbound 2 Street S.W. will be closed.
Bow Trail is reduced to one eastbound lane and two westbound lanes between 37 Street S.W. and 45 Street S.W. until Friday, July 11 due to road construction and paving due to the Bow Trail Paving project. Traffic will be directed to the north side of Bow Trail as crews will be working in the south side lanes. Calgary Police Service will be on site at times to assist with traffic control. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
- Work is expected to start on southbound 14 Street S.W. between 10 Avenue S.W. and 17 Avenue S.W. resulting in lane closures beginning in mid-July.
Westbound Bow Trail will be reduced to one lane east of Crowchild Trail from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday until mid-July for noise barrier construction.
5 Avenue S.W. will be reduced to two lanes between 5 Street S.W. and 6 Street S.W. from 9:30 a.m. until mid-July due to water main replacement.
5 Street S.W. will be reduced to three lanes between 5 Avenue S.W. and 6 Avenue S.W. from 9:30 a.m. until mid-July due to water main replacement.
There will be various lane closures on 14 Street S.W. between Heritage Drive and Anderson Road until August for operational improvements. More information is available on the website.
The left lane and sidewalk are closed on 11 Avenue S.W. between 11 Street S.W. and 12 Street S.W. until Tuesday, September 30 due to building construction.
