Calgary road closures - February12, 2014

ALERT: Westbound Glenmore Trail is closed at Blackfoot Trail due to a serious collision. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.

Northwest

Memorial Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction at 9A Street N.W. from 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 15 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 16 due to utility work.

Northbound 14 Street N.W. will be reduced to one lane in each direction at 2 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Wednesday, February 12 to Thursday, February 13 due to utility work.

Southbound 85 Street N.W. will be closed at 48 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Wednesday, February 12 to Thursday, February 13 due to utility work. Personnel will be on site to direct alternating traffic through the northbound lane.

37 Street N.W. will be closed between 5 Avenue N.W. and Bowness Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Tuesday, February 11 to Friday, February 14 due to utility work.

Northeast

36 Avenue N.E. will be closed at Edmonton Trail on Friday, February 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, February 15 from 7 a.m. to 7p.m. due to utility work.

Airport Trail will be reduced to one lane in each direction at 15 Street N.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Wednesday, February 12 and Thursday, February 13 due to construction.

Eastbound Memorial Drive will be reduced to two lanes at 9 Street N.E. (Bridgeland LRT station) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 28 due to LRT construction.

Southwest

5 Avenue S.W. will be reduced to three lanes between Centre Street and 1 Street S.W. from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 15 due to building construction.

Southeast

24 Street S.E. at 107 Avenue / 18 Street S.E. will be  reduced to one lane in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Thursday, February 13 to Friday, February 14  and Tuesday, February 18 to Wednesday, February 19 to allow for traffic signal work. 

Northbound Blackfoot Trail will be reduced to one lane at 34 Avenue S.E. from 9 p.m. Thursday, February 13 to 5 a.m. Friday, February 14 due to utility work.  No left turns will be allowed at the intersection during this same time and speed will be reduced to 50 km/h.

Westbound 11 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to two lanes at 3 Street S.E. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Thursday, February 13 to Thursday, February 20 due to utility work.

Eastbound 17 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to one lane between 19 Street S.E. and Deerfoot Trail from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, January 20 to Friday, February 14. On Saturdays the lanes will be reduced between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

9 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to one lane between 4 Street S.E. and 5 Street S.E. from 9 a.m. on Monday, January 27 to 6 p.m. on Friday, February 14 due to utility work.
