Calgary road closures - February 18, 2014

Northwest

Northbound Nosehill Drive will be reduced to one lane at Silver Springs Road N.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Friday, February 21 due to construction.

37 Street N.W. will be closed between 5 Avenue N.W. and Bowness Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Tuesday, February 11 to Wednesday, February 19 due to utility work.

Northeast

Eastbound Memorial Drive will be reduced to two lanes at 9 Street N.E. (Bridgeland LRT station) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 28 due to LRT construction.

Southwest

5 Avenue S.W. will be reduced to three lanes between 1 Street S.W. and 2 Street S.W. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Wednesday, February 19 to Friday, February 21 and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 due to construction.

Southeast

The exit ramp from northbound Blackfoot Trail to southbound Ogden Road is closed until further notice due to emergency utility work. Motorists are advised to access Ogden Road via 42 Avenue S.E.

61 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to one lane in both directions at 40 Street S.E. will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 19 due to utility work. Left turns will also be prohibited at this time.

Eastbound and westbound Glenmore Trail between 18 Street S.E and 31 Street S.E., will have various single lane closures and the speed limit reduced to 50 km/h from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily from Tuesday, February 18 until Friday, February 21 to allow for crews to do road survey work.

24 Street S.E. at 107 Avenue / 18 Street S.E. will be  reduced to one lane in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Thursday, February 13 to Friday, February 14  and Tuesday, February 18 to Wednesday, February 19 to allow for traffic signal work. 

Westbound 11 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to two lanes at 3 Street S.E. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Thursday, February 13 to Thursday, February 20 due to utility work.
