Calgary police help Toy Angels provide a Merry Christmas for thousands of children

Members of the Calgary Police Service are delivering thousands of toys to the Salvation Army today, that will put smiles on the faces of children in need.

Encana and the CPS joined radio station KISS 95.9 and The Salvation Army for the 20th annual Toy Angels campaign, Calgary’s largest toy drive that collects and distributes new, unwrapped toys to less fortunate families during the holiday season.

Toy donation displays were set up at sponsor locations including a number of shopping malls, stores, CPS district offices and the Westwinds Campus. Donations will be accepted at Westwinds Campus until 12 p.m. today.

This year Toy Angels saw its largest single donation in history through the MasterCard Canada Priceless Surprises campaign. A video of their surprise visit can be seen at http://mstr.cd/1stuerd.
