Bank Robbery Investigation

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate a robbery at a financial institution that occurred earlier today.

At approximately 9:45 a.m., a man entered the CIBC in the 1200 block of 9 Ave. S.E., indicating he had a weapon and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled. No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian, 28 to 35  years of age, between 5’10” to 6’1” tall, 180 lbs. to 200 lbs., with a medium build, a pale complexion, and a goatee with balding blonde or light brown hair. He was wearing a purple toque, dark sunglasses, a grey jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
