Woman Wanted in Connection With Two Armed Robberies

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in locating a woman alleged to be responsible for at least two violent robberies.

Along with one or more accomplices, the woman is believed to have been involved in at least two armed robberies, the first on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013.

At approximately 5:40 a.m., three people armed with a knife entered the 7-Eleven at 6304 Bowness Road N.W. The female, who was accompanied by two men, vaulted the counter and stole cigarettes, cash and lottery tickets.

The second robbery occurred on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, when a woman and man walked into the Days Inn at 4420 16 Ave. N.W., around 7 a.m. The pair, who was armed with a screwdriver, jumped the counter and grabbed the lone clerk. They demanded money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators have been able to identify the woman alleged to have been involved in these cases and warrants have been issued for her arrest.

Amber Dawn WOLFLEG, 29, faces five charges in connection with these robberies. A picture of WOLFLEG is available on the City of Calgary Newsroom.

Detectives continue to investigate these cases and whether the accused is connected to any other offences.
