Wanted on Warrants

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a man wanted on warrants for 46 counts of mischief relating to graffiti vandalism.

Between November 2012 and July 2013, the Joint Graffiti Investigation Team investigated numerous occurrences of graffiti on businesses, Transit and City property in the communities of Varsity, Bowness and the downtown core believed to be related to one individual. The estimated value of the damage caused is approximately $10,000.

Jay CRAWFORD, 34, of Calgary, is wanted on an Alberta-wide warrant. He is described as a Caucasian male, 5’10” tall, weighing approximately 185 lbs., with blonde hair, blue eyes and tattoos covering both arms. A photo of CRAWFORD can be found on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

The Joint Graffiti Investigative Team is a multi-agency group of officers from the Calgary Police Service, The City of Calgary Animal & Bylaw Services and Calgary Transit Public Safety & Enforcement, that focuses on investigating graffiti vandalism and graffiti offenders in Calgary.
