Update: Sexual Assault Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is releasing several photos seeking to identify a person connected to a recent sexual assault.

 

At approximately 5:30 a.m., on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, a teenager was walking in the 2500 block of 36 Street N.E., when a man approached her on foot and attempted to start a conversation.

 

Suddenly, the victim was forced to a nearby vestibule where she was threatened and sexually assaulted.

 

The offender is described as a dark-skinned male, possibly Aboriginal, roughly 18 to 25 years old, 5'8" to 6' tall, with a heavy build and dark hair. He was wearing a flat-brimmed black-and-silver sports hat, New Orleans Saints jersey #25, large silver chain around his neck, black winter jacket with a red liner, white runners with the tongue sticking out and dark baggy jeans.

 

The Service is releasing CCTV footage of someone who may have information about this case. These images are available on the City of Calgary Newsroom.
