Update – teenager located

A teenager who went missing on Monday, May 25, 2015, has been located safe and well.

Seeking public assistance – missing teenager

 

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a missing 13-year-old girl.

 

Kayleigh Somers was last seen at her home address in the community of Kingsland at approximately 5:30 a.m., on Monday, May 25, 2015. She left a note saying that she was going to school but did not attend.

 

It is believed that Somers was at the Southland LRT platform in the company of two young men and a young woman at approximately 12:45 p.m. on the day she went missing, but she has not been seen since.

 

Somers is described as Caucasian, 5'4" tall, approximately 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

 

She may be wearing a black hooded top or a dark-blue mid-length jacket and rainbow hightop runners.
