Update - Charges laid in Suspicious Death

The Calgary Police Service has charged one man in relation to a suspicious death during the weekend.

At approximately 10:25 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, police were called to the 3900 block of 17 Avenue S.E., for reports of an injured man. The man was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013.

Judah Diew, LONG, 34, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of manslaughter.

An autopsy is scheduled to take place today, Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013. The victim’s identity and cause of death will be released pending completion of the autopsy.
