Undetermined Injury Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating an incident in which a woman was admitted to hospital under suspicious circumstances.

On Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, a woman in her 40s attended a Calgary hospital. Her condition deteriorated over a number of days, and as of today, Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, she remains in critical, life-threatening condition.

Investigators are looking into the cause and source of her medical condition. As per protocol when a person is considered to be in life-threatening condition due to undetermined circumstances, the Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate.
