Undetermined Death Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is currently at the scene of an undetermined death in Pineridge.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, police were called to check on the welfare of an individual in a residence in the 400 block of Pinehill Road N.E. Upon arrival a woman was found deceased within the home.

A man has been taken into custody in relation to this incident.

The Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate. An autopsy is expected to occur today, Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015. No further information will be available until the autopsy has been completed.
