Undetermined Death Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating the undetermined death of a man earlier this evening.

Shortly after 7 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 22, 2014, police were called by a jogger in a park in the 5900 block of Crowchild Trail who came across an unconscious man in his 40s on the path. The man was transported to hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

One person of interest has been detained and police are not looking for any other suspects at this time.

The Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate.
