Undetermined Death Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is currently at the scene of an undetermined death.

Just after 11:30 a.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, police were called to the 1800 block of 9 Avenue S.E. for reports of a body in a car. Responding units were able to confirm that a body of a man was found inside the vehicle. The nature of the death is yet to be determined in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

As is protocol with all undetermined deaths, the Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate.
