Two Found Dead in Northwest Home

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating after two people were found dead inside a northwest home.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., on Thursday, May 16, 2013, officers were called to the 200 block of Evanspark Circle N.W., where they discovered an adult female and a young child in serious medical distress. Both were declared deceased at the scene.

Several areas of the Service are currently involved in this investigation, but it is being led by the Major Crimes Section.

As this is early in the investigation, no further details are available.
