SW Fatality Motorcycle vs Car

On September 14, 2013 at 1715 hours a Ford Taurus travelling south on 26 st collided with a westbound motorcycle on Oakfield Dr. SW.  The femal passenger on the motorcycle was declared dead at the scene.  The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries and the female driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.  At this time speed and alcohol are not believed to be a factor however it appears the Ford may have failed to obey a yeild sign. Traffic Section is investigating and the intersection will be closed for several hours.
