Suspicious death investigation continues

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate a suspicious death in the city’s northwest.

Just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Citadel Drive N.W. for reports of a deceased youth.

An autopsy was conducted yesterday, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, on the 15-year-old male.

However, further analysis is required and as such a cause and nature of death is not being released at this time.

As is the case in all undetermined deaths, the CPS Homicide Unit continues to investigate.

As this investigation is in the early stages, no further information is being released at this time.
