Strathmore-area Death Ruled Not Suspicious

The Calgary Police Service, in partnership with the Medical Examiner’s Office, has ruled the death of a man found at a recycling facility not suspicious. The cause of death, however, has yet to be determined as further testing is required. This testing could take several weeks. The name of the victim is being withheld until the autopsy is complete.

The CPS was contacted by members of the Strathmore RCMP on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, after the body of a man was discovered at the BFI Recycling Facility on Bluegrass Drive in Rocky View County.
