Stabbing on Stampede Grounds

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate an incident that occurred on the Stampede Grounds last night.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., on Thursday, July 9, 2015, police were alerted to a fight involving several individuals on the Stampede Midway. One person was stabbed and taken to Foothills Medical Centre in critical condition. A second victim was taken to Rockyview Hospital in stable, non-life threatening condition.

A third victim was located off Stampede Grounds and taken to Foothills Medical Centre in stable condition. Police are investigating to determine if these incidents are connected.
