Stabbing Incident and Resulting Homicide

At approximately 3 a.m. this morning, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, police responded to reports of a stabbing at a house party in the 5000 Block of Brisebois Drive N.W.

Upon arrival at the residence, officers found two male victims suffering from stab wounds. Both were transported to hospital; one in life-threatening condition, the second in serious condition. The first victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at hospital.

The crime scene was well contained and witnesses to the altercation were transported to Police Headquarters for questioning.

The CPS Homicide unit is now investigating.
