Smash-and-Grab at N.E. Mall

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating after a truck rammed the front of a northeast mall.

At approximately 4:15 a.m., today, Sunday, April 12, 2015, police were called to Marlborough Mall in the 3800 block of Memorial Drive N.E.

Once inside the mall, at least two offenders entered a jewelry store and stole several items.

The offenders then left the area in the truck, described as a 2006-2008 light-coloured Ford 350, with chrome running boards. The vehicle will have significant front-end damage.

The first suspect is described as Caucasian, and was wearing a scarf and hoodie, jeans, a red under shirt, and a dark-blue jacket.

The second suspect was wearing a grey hoodie with the hood pulled up, dark gloves, a dark mask on his face, jeans, and dark running shoes with a white sole.
