Skyview carjacking

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify and locate a man believed to be involved in a carjacking that took place this morning.

At approximately 7 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, a woman was opening her detached garage in the 300 block of Skyview Ranch Road N.E., where her vehicle was started. The woman saw a male with what appeared to be a handgun, standing next to her vehicle. He demanded that she leave, and he drove away with the vehicle.

The man is described as 6’ tall, with a slim build, wearing a black jacket and a black mask that covered his face.

The stolen vehicle is a two-door 2012 silver Honda Civic with an Alberta plate BLX8558.

Members of the public are urged not to approach the vehicle if they see it.
