Shooting Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred in the city’s northeast.

At approximately 1 a.m., Monday, Jan. 4, 2015, police were called to the 1300 block of 1 Street N.E., for reports of a shooting. A man was taken to hospital in serious condition.

At this time it is not believed to be a random incident, however, a specific motive is not yet known, nor a suspect description. The investigation is ongoing and more details will become available when they are known.
