Serious injury collision

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate a serious injury collision on Crowchild Trail. 

At approximately 6 a.m. today, Monday, May 12, 2014, a 1994 dark blue Toyota Corolla was travelling northbound on Crowchild Trail over Bow Trail. The vehicle lost control and struck the median, causing significant damage.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to hospital in life threatening condition. 

Speed and alcohol are being investigated.
