Serious Injury Collision

On 2014 10 31 at 1940 hrs a single vehicle roll-over occurred on southbound Deerfoot Trail near the Southland Drive exit ramp.

Witnesses called 911 advising of a southbound vehicle driving erratically. The witnesses then observed the vehicle lose control and roll into the ditch and through a chain link fence.

A 52 year old female driver was transported to the Foothills Hospital. She remains in hospital in critical condition.  There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

Alcohol appears to be a factor in this collision.
