Seeking public assistance in relation to two bank robberies

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a man responsible for robbing two banks on the same day in June.

At approximately 12:15 p.m., on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, a man entered the CIBC located in the 2000 block of 16 Avenue N.W. At approximately 4:30 p.m., on the same day, the same suspect entered the CIBC located in the 2300 block of Centre Street N.E.

In both instances, the man demanded money before leaving with an undisclosed quantity of cash from each bank.

No one was injured during either robbery.
