Seeking public assistance – Southwood bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance following a bank robbery that occurred in the community of Southwood this weekend.

On Saturday, June 20, 2015, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a man robbed the Bank of Montreal located in the 10000 block of Elbow Drive S.W. The suspect approached the teller and presented a robbery note demanding money and indicating that he was armed.

He was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene. No one was injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian, in his mid-20s, 5’7” to 5’8” tall, approximately 140 lbs with a slim build. He has short, dark hair and no facial hair.
