Seeking public assistance – sex assault

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in relation to a sexual assault that occurred in the southeast.

 

At approximately 12:25 p.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, a man entered a store in the 4300 block of 130 Avenue S.E. He approached a female member of staff and engaged her in conversation. The man then reached out and groped the woman.

 

She protested and the man left the store when another customer came in.

 

The man is described as East Indian, 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5’ 5” tall, with brown eyes, black hair and spoke with a thick East Indian accent. He was wearing glasses, a maroon-coloured plaid shirt and smelled strongly of cologne.
