At approximately 10:30 a.m., on Friday, December 11, 2015, a man entered the Co-op Liquor Store, located at 1000 Hamptons Dr. N.W. Once inside, the man produced a weapon and after attempting to rob the store, he fled on foot.

Shortly afterward, at approximately 11 a.m., a man entered the Liquor Bank, located at 34 Edgedale Dr. N.W. The man produced a weapon and robbed the store. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash and liquor, the man fled on foot.

The suspect in the two liquor store robberies is described as a black or dark-skinned male, between 25 to 30 years old, roughly 6’ tall, with a medium build, and a shaved head. He was wearing a dark grey toque, forest green or grey winter jacket with a logo on the chest, and a patterned black and white or blue and white scarf over half his face, black jeans and black shoes.
