Seeking public assistance – Killarney bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance following a bank robbery that occurred in Killarney yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 4 p.m., on Monday, June 15, 2015, a man robbed the Scotiabank located in the 3400 block of 17 Avenue S.W.  The man presented a robbery note and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian, 19 – 20 years old, with blonde hair, approximately 5’7” – 5’8” tall and weighing 140 – 150 lbs.  He is also described as having a thin build and a pale complexion.  The man was wearing a black jacket, a black ball cap, black sunglasses and was carrying a black laptop bag with grey lining inside.
