Seeking public assistance – indecent approach to a child

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance for information related to a man who indecently approached a child.

At approximately 4:15 p.m., on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, a child noticed a man following her as she rode her bike to the Husky gas station located at 230 Sandarac Drive N.W. While attempting to leave the gas station, the man approached the child and kissed her hand. He proceeded to ask her a number of inappropriate questions and made motions for her to allow the man to look down her shirt at her breasts. She attempted to leave but was blocked by the man two times before she was able to ride her bike home.

The man is described as East Indian, in his 50s or 60s, approximately 5’1” in height, with a heavy build and greying brown hair. He was wearing a white shirt with a black suit and eyeglasses, and appeared dishevelled.
