Seeking public assistance – Evening bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance following a bank robbery that occurred on Macleod Trail yesterday evening.

On Thursday, June 25, 2015, at approximately 7:45 p.m., a man robbed the Bank of Montreal branch located in the 6500 block of Macleod Trail S.E.  The suspect approached the teller and presented a robbery note. He was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 50 to 60 years of age, approximately 5’7” to 5’10” tall, 150 to 170 lbs with a medium build. He was wearing glasses, a dark colored baseball cap and a t-shirt.
