Seeking public assistance – Bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance following a bank robbery that occurred in the community of West Springs yesterday morning.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015, a man entered and robbed the Scotiabank located in the 800 block of 85 Street S.W., brandishing a firearm and making a verbal demand for money. The man obtained an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank.

The man was disguised, wearing a ski mask, sunglasses and dark coloured clothing. He is approximately 6’ tall, with a medium build.

No one was injured during the robbery.
