Seeking public assistance - Thursday morning bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in relation to a bank robbery that occurred earlier this morning.

At 10:24 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, an unknown man entered the CIBC located in the 2300 block of Centre Street N. He approached a teller and produced a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the bank. No one was injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 30 years old, 5’5” to 5’8” tall, with a slim build, short light-brown hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a green camouflage baseball hat, black wire-rimmed glasses, a red jacket with white and navy or black stripes, tan khaki pants and light-coloured running shoes.
