Seeking Public Assistance - Suspicious Fire Investigation

The Calgary Police Service Arson Unit is seeking public assistance for information related to a fire that destroyed a home over the weekend.

At approximately 4:10 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, the Calgary Fire Department and the Calgary Police Service were called to a residential fire in the 4200 block of Elbow Drive S.W. The fire caused extensive damage to the residence.

The Arson Unit is investigating the incident and believes the fire to be suspicious. Anyone with information about the incident, or who may have been in the area at the time the fire began, is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers anonymously using any of the following methods:
