Seeking Public Assistance - Shooting Incident

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance with information in relation to a shooting incident last night.

At approximately 8:50 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2015, police were called by residents in the area of the 5600 block of 8 Avenue S.E. for reports that three vehicles were driving down an ally while the occupants shot at each other. Upon arrival, the vehicles were not found, however, officers located numerous shell casings in the area.

No one was injured as a result of the incident, and it at this time it is believed no houses were struck by stray bullets. 

The first vehicle is described as a newer looking, white Dodge Ram 1500 truck, possibly the Longhorn edition, raised with large tires.

The second vehicle is described as a dark blue four-door sedan, possibly a Chrysler 300 type, with cardboard covering the passenger side back window.

The third vehicle is described as a green or charcoal coloured Mercedes type sedan, with tinted windows.
