Seeking Public Assistance - Sexual Assault

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a man responsible for a recent sexual assault.

Following several interviews with the victim, the Service is releasing a composite drawing of the suspect in hopes of identifying him.

It’s alleged the man is responsible for a sexual assault in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. At approximately 12:30 a.m., the victim was sitting in the area of 14 Street and 15 Avenue S.W., when she was approached by a man driving a silver, newer-model PT Cruiser.

The victim got into the man’s vehicle and was taken to a location in Sunalta where she was sexually assaulted and beaten. She was found in an alley in the 2200 block of 24A Street S.W., where it’s believed the suspect left her.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his early-to-mid 30s, approximately 6’ tall, with a slim build. He was clean-shaven with short, dirty-blond hair and a distinct Adam’s apple. At the time of the assault, he was wearing glasses, a blue, button-down collared shirt, jeans and a black leather jacket. A composite drawing of the man is available on the City of Calgary Newsroom.
