Seeking Public Assistance - Robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying two men responsible for a recent robbery.

On Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, the two men walked into the Twin Variety & Food Store in the 5200 block of 4 Street N.E., and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. It’s believed the men, who were masked at the time of the robbery, had been in the store shortly before the offence, likely to assess the situation.

The first suspect is Caucasian, 20 to 25 years old, 5’10” tall and approximately 180 pounds. He was clean shaven, wearing a black, flat-brimmed baseball cap, a grey RVCA sweater, tan-coloured pants, and dark running shoes. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white bandana over his face.

The second suspect is Caucasian, 20 to 25 years old, 5’9” tall, 170 pounds, with a medium build. At the time of the offence, he was wearing a black hoodie, sunglasses and a dark bandana over his face.

Photos and video of the suspects are being released to the public and investigators are asking anyone who can identify the men to contact the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers anonymously using any of the following methods:
