Seeking Public Assistance - Robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with a recent robbery at a bank.

At approximately 3:20 p.m., on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, the man, who was wearing a disguise, walked into the Alberta Treasury Branch in the 2100 block of 34 Avenue S.W. He demanded money from the teller and was then able to leave the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was verbally aggressive during the robbery, however, no one was physically injured.

He is described as Caucasian, 6’ tall, 150 to 165 pounds, and was wearing a tan-coloured, heavy-duty hooded sweatshirt, black mask, black gloves, blue jeans and white runners. He was also carrying a duffle bag with a shoulder strap.

During the robbery, the suspect spoke with a very low-pitched voice.
