Seeking Public Assistance - Robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a man who may have information about the robbery of a southeast liquor store.

Just before 10 p.m., on Sunday, June 9, 2013, a man walked into a liquor store in the 0-100 block of Shawville Boulevard S.E. He briefly spoke with the store clerk, then produced a black tire iron and demanded the tills be opened.

The culprit then went behind the counter and placed an undisclosed amount of money into the front pocket of his hooded jacket. He exited the store and then left the area in a large, black, newer model truck that had distinctive white or silver lettering on the sides and back window.

The man is described as Caucasian, with a tanned complexion, 5’6” to 5’9” tall, with a medium build, dark hair and dark eyes. He was wearing a black baseball hat, white running shoes and a black hooded jacket with a distinctive circular grey logo on the chest.
