Seeking Public Assistance

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying a man who approached a teen earlier today and grabbed her wrists.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, a 13-year-old girl was walking in an alley in the 4900 block of 17 Avenue S.W., when she was approached by the man. The suspect grabbed her wrists and attempted to kiss her. The victim was able to break free and run to a nearby school where police were called.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, with a pale complexion, 5’9” to 5’10” tall, with a muscular build. He had a wispy moustache, blue/grey eyes and was wearing a navy hoodie with the hood up, dark-blue jeans with rips in the knees, and black running shoes.
