Seeking Public Assistance

At approximately 4 p.m., this afternoon, Friday, January 11, 2013, a woman walking with three small children in the area of 17 Avenue and 26 Street S.W., saw a male, she believed was carrying a gun.

The male is described as being 16-17 years-of-age, dressed in all black clothing, wearing fingerless gloves and a balaclava. The possible firearm is described as being an assault rifle with a red tip.

Police ask anyone who spots this male to call 911 immediately and to not approach the male.
