Seeking Public Assistance - Man Wanted on Warrants

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in locating a man wanted on outstanding warrants.

Justin Malcolm SUTHERLAND, 27, is being sought in connection with a domestic-related assault on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. During the incident, the female victim was punched with closed fists, which caused extensive swelling and bruising that required medical treatment.

SUTHERLAND is Aboriginal, 5’11” tall and 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, as well as tattoos of firearms on both of his upper arms. A photo of SUTHERLAND is available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

Warrants for SUTHERLAND’s arrest include two counts of aggravated assault, theft of motor vehicle, failing to appear and possession of weapon dangerous to the public.
