Seeking public assistance - home invasion robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking assistance with identifying suspects responsible for a home invasion robbery.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., on February 26, 2015, two men forced entry into a home in the 600 block of Coventry Drive NE. The suspects used a weapon to subdue the occupant, and stole various items from the residence prior to fleeing through a green space towards Coventry Circle.

The first suspect is described as male, 5’9” tall, 170 to 190 pounds, wearing a black balaclava, black hoodie, and carrying a black backpack.

The second suspect is described as male, 5’9” tall, 170 to 180 pounds, with a bigger nose, wearing a black balaclava, black gloves, and black pants. This male possibly has the first name of Michael.

Both suspects may be of Aboriginal descent.

A green pickup truck with a matching green topper was observed in the area at the time of the robbery.

The same home was broken into a week prior to this incident when no one was at home. Items were taken from the home. Investigators are still trying to determine if the two incidents are linked.

Between February 25, 2015 and February 26, 2015 there were four break and enters at other homes in the immediate area. It is unknown at this time if these events are all related.
