Seeking public assistance - Friday afternoon bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in relation to a bank robbery that occurred earlier this afternoon.

On August 22, 2014 at approximately 13:38hrs, a lone male culprit entered the CIBC branch located at the 3600blk of 17 Ave S.E. The culprit approached the bank teller and produced a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the bank. No one was injured during the robbery.

The culprit is described as: Black male, between 20 to 30 years of age, 5'6", 150 lbs, slim, medium black complexion, low voice, no accent, chin strap beard wearing sunglasses with blue frames, baseball hat with a white squared emblem, short hair wearing a dark jacket with a hood, and black jeans
