Seeking public assistance - financial robbery
The Calgary Police Service is asking for assistance in locating a suspect in relation to a financial robbery.
On Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, a victim was at an ATM kiosk located in the 500 block of 64 Avenue N.E. While entering his PIN number a man placed a black handgun to his head and demanded money.
The victim handed the suspect $100 and was then forced to a second ATM. The victim told the man he did not have any more money and was then asked for a cell phone. The victim said no and ran from the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6’7”, 200 pounds, with a slim build and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie, with a black and white scarf over his face, black gloves, and black pants. Pictures of the suspect are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
